Late night talk show host and actor Conan O' Brien recently entered a playful Twitter war with politician and diplomat Madeleine Albright, People reports.

The funny Twitter dispute first started following a tweet O'Brien posted about dressing up as a "slutty Madeleine Albright" for Halloween.

Albright, 77 who describes herself on Twitter as a "grateful American, Czech immigrant, mother & grandmother, fmr SecState, passionate democrat, author, prof, bizwoman, pin collector, & occasional drummer" responded to O' Brien's tweet with a playful jab aimed at the actor's attractiveness and appeal.

The dueling pair quickly ended their playful feud with O'Brien tweeting out that Albright had won the Twitter war.

In addition to being an "occasional drummer" as mentioned in her Twitter bio, Albright also served as a former U.S. secretary of state.

Us Weekly reports that Albright's political career inspired the plot line for CBS' new show "Madam Secretary," starring Tea Leoni.

During a past interview with Parade Magazine, Leoni revealed that she met with Albright to prepare for her role on the show.

"I had a great breakfast with Madeleine Albright," she said. "Facing sexism as the first woman in that job, she told me things I'll take to the grave. She did say that although there was a concern about sending a woman to negotiate in areas where women are not revered or educated, 'All the trouble I had was here, never over there.'"
