On Friday, Louisiana police arrested two former reality TV stars, Stephanie Hayden and Kris Ford, for child abuse. The couple appeared on the reality TV show "Sons of Guns," but they are currently in custody for allegedly hitting Hayden's son.

According to TMZ, Hayden and Ford were arrested for hitting Stephanie Hayden's 9-year-old son on his buttocks with a belt. The boy was hit hard enough for him to bruise.

Local news station WAFB reports that the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office charged Ford with cruelty to a juvenile for hitting him with a leather belt.

Stephanie Hayden was also arrested and charged with principal to cruelty to a juvenile because she was in the same room when the beating happened.

The child in question is Stephanie Hayden's son from a previous relationship. It has not been reported who has custody of him now.

The couple participated in the Discovery Channel show "Sons of Guns" about Will Hayden who owned a gun store called Red Jacket Firearms.

The show, however, has since been canceled. Will Hayden was arrested earlier this year for allegedly sexually abusing and raping various young women. He has been charged with two counts of rape in East Baton Rouge Parish and one count of rape and one of indecent behavior in Livingston Parish.

However, the worse accusation came from Stephanie Hayden. According to Fox News, earlier this year she accused her father of sexually abusing her when she was 12-years-old.

Stephanie Hayden made the accusations on an episode of "Dr. Phil," saying her father came into her room drunk one night and touched her chest.

"He continued to proceed to kiss on my chest. Once that happened I jumped back, and he just left, and he never touched me again like that," she said, adding that she was depressed afterwards and carried knives to protect herself.
