'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' Cast News 2014: Celebrity Stars Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Become ‘First Family of Fashion’
Andre Leon Talley, the editor-at-large for "Vogue" magazine, recently named Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and their daughter North West as the first family of fashion.
Talley recently published a blog post about the "first family of fashion" on Zappos Couture.
There, he explained that Kim, Kanye and North all proved to be fashion icons given their distinct styles and the memorable wardrobe pieces they all wore during Paris Fashion Week.
"It's the new FFF: First Fashion Family -- Kimye and Baby North," Talley wrote. "The three were a force of iconic moments as they pivoted around Paris, the mecca of fashion during the last fashion shows this month."
Talley continued his blog entry by including stellar reviews of Kimye's fashion from some of the fashion industry's heavyweights.
"Kanye knows quality," said fashion designer Ralph Lauren.
"Kim is one of my favorite people," said model Kate Moss.
Talley concluded his post by naming some of Kimye's signature looks from Paris fashion week.
Given Kanye's knowledge of "quality" fashion, as previously described by Ralph Lauren, it comes as no surprise that the rapper/fashion designer isn't the easiest to shop for.
Kim recently revealed to the London Evening Standard that she generally doesn't buy Kanye clothes because of his perfectionist attitude towards clothing, MTV reports.
"I can buy other things but clothes are really hard," she said. "He likes to dress so simple -- you know, he has his favorite jeans... he wears the same thing over and over."
Kim also talked about her daughter's sense of style and future fashion endeavors during a separate interview with the London Evening Standard.
"[North] loves fashion. Maybe she'll be a designer," Kim revealed.
Kim also revealed her plans to make North get a job as she grows older.
"She will have to work for what she wants," she told ES.
