Although Wiz Khalifa's birthday tweet to Amber Rose sparked rumors of a reconciliation emerging between the estranged couple, Rose recently revealed that she and Khalifa still plan to finalize their divorce despite the love that they still share for each other.

While appearing at the wrap party for her upcoming film, "Sister Code," Rose spoke to Hip Hollywood about what she describes as her "devastating" divorce to Wiz Khalifa, Vibe reports.

"[It's] devastating. I mean, I'm human, you know? I'm going through a divorce. I love my husband, I miss him a lot. And yeah, shit happens," she said.

MadameNoire reports that Rose also spoke to Black Hollywood Live during the wrap party and explained that she and Khalifa remain friends despite their divorce.

"We were married and he has always been my best friend so regardless of us not being married anymore, we still have a baby," Rose explained.

She continued, "We still love each other and we are always going to love each other forever. And that's just how it is. We are human and I think a lot of people look at celebrities as robots and think we don't have feelings."

Rose previously expressed her continued love for Khalifa following his birthday tweet to Rose last week.

Rose responded to Khalifa's birthday tweet with her own sentimental tweet claiming that she "still loves" Khalifa "no matter what."

Rose and Khalifa's divorce was first reported last month.

At the time, TMZ reported that Rose filed for divorce from Khalifa after finding him in bed with another woman. TMZ also claimed that Khalifa bought a separate home from Rose prior to their divorce.

Rose's close friend and Hot 97 radio host Peter Rosenberg later dished on further details regarding Khalifa's infidelity, claiming that Khalifa cheated on Rose with twin sisters.

"Amber walked in on him with two women, same time, twins, twin biological sisters," Rosenberg revealed.
