Last week, TMZ reported that "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" matriarch, Mama June is dating child molester, Mark Anthony McDaniel who allegedly served "10 years in prison for forcing one of Mama June's daughters to have oral sex with him."

Since the news of Mama June's shocking story broke out on TMZ, TLC announced its decision to abruptly cancel its popular "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" show.

In addition to losing the show, People is now reporting that Mama June might also lose custody of her children who are believed to have been allegedly abused by June's boyfriend.

"Generally speaking, when we receive a report that children are living around a sex offender ... it would certainly rise to the level of concern of us looking into it," Susan Boatwright, a spokesperson for Georgia's Division of Family and Child Services told People.

Boatwright also explained that if someone from child services had any suspicion of harm or danger within the child's home, child services "would develop a safety plan and make sure the children are not around an offender."

Though TMZ has published several photos of June and McDaniel together, June continues to deny having any relationship with McDaniel, People reports.

"It isn't true, I promise," June recently wrote on Facebook.

McDaniel's daughter-in-law, Peaches McDaniel later defended the alleged sex offender on Facebook, TMZ reports.

In her Facebook post, Peaches urged critics to stop judging Mark "by his past."

[My husband's] dad is an amazing man, as well amazing father," she wrote about her father-in-law.

Mama June is mother to daughters Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon and Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon, all minors. Her eldest , Anna, 20, is married and a mother to one child, People reports.

So far, there have been no reports confirming Mama June losing custody of her children.
