Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin Relationship & Breakup News: Couple Reportedly Splits After 4 Months of Dating
Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin have split after four months of dating, E! News reports.
The now former pair first began dating back in June shortly after Lawrence split from her "X-Men" co-star, Nicholas Hoult, and in March Martin announced his separation from Gwenyth Paltrow following 10 years of marriage.
A People source claims that it was Jen who broke things off with Martin.
The reason for the new couple's breakup is allegedly their "insane schedules," says an Us Weekly source.
"They really like each other," the source added, "but it's just so complicated with so much going on."
Although neither Lawrence or Martin confirmed their relationship while they were dating, the two were spotted together in September at the iHeart Music Festival and most recently at the Kings of Leon concert at the Hollywood Bowl, says E! News.
During the time of their four-month romance, Us Weekly reported that Lawrence and Martin "fell hard for each other" and Martin believed Lawrence was "the real deal."
Prior to the couple's split, Lawrence described her idea of the perfect man to Vanity Fair.
"I would just rather have somebody that has the same taste in reality TV," Lawrence told Vanity Fair. "I do love my Real Housewives. New York Housewives -- and Beverly Hills, New Jersey, and Atlanta Housewives. I mean, I love them all, but Miami -- oh, my God! Miami is really special."
Lawrence also revealed her preference for a "peaceful" romance over a "passionate" romance.
Lawrence explained that a peaceful romance allows a person to their "true self with somebody, and somebody can be their true self with you."
The Oscar winning actress also named fighting as her biggest pet peeve in a relationship.
"I don't like fighting, and I find argumentative people the most annoying people on the planet," she said. "Like, why do you still want to be fighting? It's just unattractive."
