While Pablo may want another chance with Esmeralda, Esmeralda is not so sure.

Plus, Esmeralda now has more competition from Monica, who is determined to get Pablo back, but at least other parts of her life are starting to get better, as her parents have found her. Still, Esmeralda has yet to find out who they are. (Catch up on episodes 41-45 here.)

Here's what to expect in episodes 46-50.

Episode 46: Esmeralda and El Italiano are talking, and he is actually being very decent to her. El Italiano tells her that perhaps she should give Pablo a chance to visit her daughter, Leticia, who is having health issues. He thinks it's especially important as the doctor has told her that Leticia might die.

Episode 47: Fela opens up to Esmeralda. Fela explains that she never fought for her daughter, which is why Fela knows that Esmeralda has to fight. It seems that Leticia's health is improving.

Episode 48: Leticia is hospitalized, and Pablo and his mother, Lorenza, stop by the hospital. Esmeralda is very surprised by Lorenza's behavior. She also questions El Silencioso about his identity. She doesn't understand why he's so nice and protective over her.

Episode 49: Esmeralda may have other things to worry about, but Pablo, Mariano and El Italiano are fighting over her. It doesn't seem all of them have her best interest at heart, and El Silencioso picks up on it. He doesn't like the attention El Italiano is giving Esmeralda.

Episode 50: Lorenza finally gets her way, and separates her daughter, Virginia, from Centavito. He is taken to jail and accused of a crime he didn't commit, and it doesn't seem like he'll ever be free. Virginia is saddened. When Virginia asks her mother to stand down, she learns that Lorenza will not be budging.
