On Saturday night, the cast and crew of the upcoming "Star Wars Episode: VII" film celebrated the conclusion of production at London's science museum, the Hollywood Reporter reports.

According to THR, Nov. 3, marked the film's final day of shooting.

Cast members, J.J. Abrams, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, Andy Serkis and John Boyega were all in attendance for the wrap party and Boyega shared several moments from the event with his Instagram followers.

In addition to celebrating the end of taping at the wrap party, director, J.J. Abrams also issued a letter to his cast and crew thanking them for their hard work during production, the Verge reports.

Though the letter was meant only for the cast and crew's eyes, it was somehow leaked to Twitter on Friday and later deleted.

However, Slashfilm  got a hold of the letter and posted it online.

In the letter-signed by "Star Wars" director, J.J Abrams and producers Kathleen Kennedy and Bryan Burke- the cast and crew are thanked for their "professionalism, passion, and patience" while working on set.

"From the deserts of Abu Dhabi, to the Forest of Dean, to the stages of Pinewood, you have risen to every challenge and been as wonderfully kind as you are brilliantly talented," the letter continues.

Burke, Kennedy, and Abrams then conclude the letter by stating the objective of the highly anticipated "Episode: VII" film.

"Our ambition here is large, of course, and it must be: we are here to make a film that entertains millions of people, of all ages, for generations," Abrams explains. "To create an experience people will cherish watching as much as we will cherish having made it, together."

"Star Wars: Episode VII" hits theaters December 18, 2015.
