Apple iOS7 Problems, Bugs and Fixes: Users Complaining of 'Nausea' and 'Seasickness' Because of Animations
Despite the popularity of Apple iOS7, it has been causing some users to complain about feelings of 'seasickness.'
Most of the iPad and iPhone users who have the Apple iOS7 are suffering from motion sickness and vertigo as mentioned in some Apple product forums, Huffington Post reports. This may have been due to its design that include fast animations into its software features specifically for Apple gadgets like iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone. Each time the user switch between applications along with the folders where it is placed, the screen gets to zoom in and out rapidly. Moreover, the 3-D effects it has each time the multitask functions are used led to "nausea."
One of the iOS7 users by the name of Ensorceled mentioned in an Apple forum this message: 'The zoom animations everywhere on the new iOS 7 are literally making me nauseous and giving me headache." The user added that it is the same feeling as when you get dizzy each time you read inside a moving car.
The sad part about it is that those who may have suffered from the same complaints cannot revert to the iOS 6. The way though to lessen its screen motions is by going to Settings, head to General and go to Accessibility. Turn on the Reduce Motion option.
However, this option does not take out the zoom in and out effects still. Numerous application developers may be able to help in solving this problem just like James Thomson who made a certain function that will disable the animation of the new Apple iOS7 in his app, according to Stuff Magazine.
Yahoo News adds that Apple has not yet made any official comment about it. On a positive note though, the Apple iOS7 remained consistent with its selling points of making the icons look a lot flatter and much simpler.
