Glee Season 5 Premiere Episode Replay Video and Recap: Beatles Tribute and Remembering Cory Monteith
The all-time most popular musical television show is back! The launch of Glee's Season Five paid tribute to the Beatles, though the atmosphere was sad, since one of its lead actors Cory Monteith will not be around anymore.
The opening of the Glee Season 5 premiere episode showed Rachel trying out for her dream role for Funny Girl. She made a beautiful rendition of Yesterday while takes the time to gaze on her phone where she sees a group shot of her old high school glee friends which include the character of Monteith, Finn Hudson, Digital Spy UK stated.
On the other hand, the New Directions were all motivated to spend about two weeks for the Fab Four even reflecting that their own life challenges are similar to that of Paul, Ringo, George and John. Artie and Kitty showed a Drive My Car rendition that captured the joyous Technicolor aura of The Beatles.
One of the most highlighted parts of the Glee Season 5 Premiere is the love element of Kurt and Blaine. They showed an amazing celebration of their reunion with a bouncy version of Got To Get You Into My Life, topped off with a full marching band. Another reason to smile about the premiere is the return of Sue Sylvester in McKinley High so as to replace Figgins. The former principal has been pushed to step down when Sue planted all types of implicating evidence which include gay fetish magazines.
Blaine also came up with a Help rendition as he seeks advice from the glee club on how he would propose marriage to Kurt. When Kurt learned about it, he spent time with his father for another heartwarming advice and some serious father-son talk.
And of course, there can never be anything more romantic than New Directions, The Warblers and Vocal Adrenaline performing together for a mash-up rendition of Love is All You Need/He Loves You.
Newsday reports that Glee's tribute to Monteith will air by October 10 which will be entitled The Quarterback after his football position of his role as Finn.
