The final season of "Glee" is underway and the cast is reluctantly getting ready to hang their hats for good, but "Glee" star Lea Michele is also cleaning out her closet to prepare for a new chapter -- and to help others by sharing her clothes with a charity called Sharity.org.

Known for rocking the red carpet with her fabulous and sexy designer gowns as well as everyday designer duds, Michele is also following in the footsteps of another sexy, fashionable and talented actress, Sharon Stone, who also donates her clothing items to Sharity.org. 

The popular and charitable site is selling Michele's clothing items to raise money for breast cancer research through the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Her sale kicks off Wednesday, Nov. 5.

Stone, who is known for her roles in "Basic Instinct" and "Casino," is also a renowned activist/philanthropist and the spokesperson for the American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) since 1995.

In 1998, Stone signed on and became the Global Fundraising Chairman until "a safe and effective AIDS vaccine is developed." In 2013, Stone, who also supports other numerous charities, was awarded the Nobel Peace Summit Award for her AIDS charity work, according to Sharity.org.

Other actors who participate in Sharity.org include Kathryn Hahn -- who recently starred in "This Is Where I Leave You," starring Tina Fey and Jason Bateman -- as well as Oscar Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey, who is currently the lead actor of "Interstellar."

This marks the second time that Michele, who is also an ambassador for the L'Oreal Paris' "Women Of Worth" campaign, has reportedly lent her support to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

In October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the "Glee" favorite filmed a commercial for Evian water to help them promote awareness for the disease. She also uses Twitter as a platform to get the message out about self-exams and screenings, etc.

Early detection is key in treating and combating breast cancer, where "one in eight women will be diagnosed with the disease in their lifetime," according to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

"The fight against breast cancer is a cause that I deeply care about and a cause that I have long supported," Michele said in a statement for Evian. "When I heard that Evian was partnering with the NBCF to launch this campaign, it was an initiative that I wanted to be part of as regular self-examinations are the key in making a positive change in a woman's survival rate."

Shooting for the final season of "Glee" Season 6 is currently underway. Michele, who plays Rachel Berry, will reportedly leave New York City behind and return to Lima, Ohio to take over New Directions.

"Glee" Season 6, which also stars Naya Rivera, Dianna Agron, Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch and Chord Overstreet, among others, will debut in early 2015.
