"Selfie," the modern version of "My Fair Lady," has been canceled.

The TV show, which had a social media twist, will not run past its original 13-episode order. The next episode will air on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 8 p.m., which is its regular slot, but there is no more information on whether it will run past that.

The show starred Karen Gillan and John Cho and was created by Emily Kapneck.

"Selfie" followed Eliza Dooley, who has no trouble getting followers on her social media accounts, but is not as capable of making friends in real life. The self-absorbed twenty-something enlisted the help of her co-worker, Henry Higgs, who is played by Cho. Higgs is an image consultant.

Though Higgs cannot understand the way Dooley lives her life, the two were starting to understand each other more.

The story didn't resonate with audiences, however.

It debuted to 5.3 million viewers, with a 1.6 rating among adults aged 18 to 49.

"Forever," another ABC show, has fared better.

A full season of the drama was ordered, notes Entertainment Weekly.

The show has gotten a boost in numbers because of playback viewing. The season has averaged 7.6 million viewers, and one of the latest episodes had an 82 percent increase because of playbacks. The show has a 1.2 rating among those aged 18 to 49.

"Forever" tells the story of Dr. Henry Morgan, who is immortal. He is a New York City medical examiner who studies the dead so that he can learn more about his own immortality. Ioan Gruffudd plays Morgan.

ABC has also given full seasons to "Black-ish" and "How to Get Away with Murder." Other new shows on other networks that also made the cut were "Jane the Virgin," "Scorpion," "Madam Secretary" and "The Flash."
