iPhone 5s vs iPhone 5 vs iPhone 5c and More: Watch a Speed Test Between Every iPhone Model [VIDEO]
Which iPhone is the fastest of all? It turns out that question isn't so simple.
In a YouTube video, all of the iPhones were compared for differences in speed. For the most part, the iPhone 5s beats out its six counterparts, but there are some areas where the older phones hold the edge. The older phones turn off noticeably faster than the new ones, which the LA Times believes is due to differences in the older operating systems. iOS 7, which was just recently released earlier this month, tends to shut the phones off a bit slower than the older systems.
What was perhaps one of the most interesting parts of this video included one key difference between the iPhone 5c and 5, which were known to be nearly identical except for appearance purposes and most notably a better camera. However, the video proved that the iPhone 5c does load web pages faster than the 5. The iPhone 5c led the pack, of course, and almost all of the rest of the phones loaded the pages in order behind it.
The improved speed in the 5c over the 5 gives Apple more justification for updating the phone into what just essentially seemed like a repackaged iPhone 5.
All in all, the video is a great way for Apple fans to compare the phones. The differences in the phones translate into a pattern reminiscient of dominoes falling one by one -- the list of iPhones work in order of the newest phone working the fastest followed by all of the rest.
