On previous episodes of "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo," Diego realized that Ana and Fernando won't stop loving each other. For heartbroken Diego, things become worse when his father lands in the hospital.

Here's what happens in episodes 86-90.

Episode 86:

When Nicolas seems to be waking up, Enrique, who is disguised as a doctor, uses a needle to inject poison into Nicolas' system. Fernando has the cardiologist analyze the syringe that Enrique dropped.

Fernando doesn't know where Diego is, and Fernando asks Ana to come meet him because he needs her.

Ana calls Natalia to ask about Diego, and Natalia offers to go look for him. When Natalia does meet up with him, she tells Diego that she is sick of him acting like a child.

Ana is sitting in a chair and has fallen asleep. Fernando gives her a kiss on the forehead, and he tells Ana he loves her. Even though she is asleep, Ana ends up telling him that she loves him as well. Fernando falls asleep next to her.

Episode 87:

Isabela finds out through a third party that her apartment is ready, and she becomes upset that Fernando couldn't tell him herself. At least she'll become vice president of Fernando's company because of Enrique.

While the Lascurains are eating pizza, Fernando tells the children that their grandfather is better and that Manuela has left her position as cook. Fernando also tells his children that Isabela is leaving soon, and he will be paying for her apartment.

Episode 88:

Nicolas tells Jennifer that he is going to require special attention and that he doesn't want to be a burden on her. He also tells her that she deserves a young man.

Ana calls Diego, and he doesn't pick up. She sends him a text message, which Natalia reads to Diego. The message says that she is sorry and that she was always sincere. Diego then tells Natalia that they should leave Mexico together, but Natalia says that she doesn't want to be a consolation prize.

Nicolas talks to Johnny and asks him if he still loves Jennifer. Johnny tries to evade the question, but Nicolas wants Johnny to make Jennifer happy.

Episode 89:

Fernando finds out that the substance in the syringe is dangerous. The doctor tells Fernando that it needs to be investigated by the police.

While Ana struggles to figure out how to make meals for the Lascurains, Johnny arrives and reveals that he knows how to cook.

Jennifer tells Ana that her debt is paid off at Chicago, and Ana shows Jennifer a picture of her mother, Soledad. Diego was the one who gave her the image.

Episode 90:

Fernando has gotten 43 phone calls from Isabela. She is not happy with her new apartment and has been calling to complain.

Fernando realizes he has to end his argument with his brother as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Diego is erasing photos of Ana. When Fernando and Diego do talk, Fernando defends Ana. He says that she is innocent and Diego shouldn't be upset with her.

Fernando tells Ana that he has asked Diego for forgiveness, but that Diego did not accept his apology. Ana says that everything will work out.
