CBS 'The Big Bang Theory' Season 8, Episode 9 Spoilers: Sheldon Is Worried About Howard's Surgery in 'The Septum Deviation' [Watch]
Sheldon will become excessively worried when Howard decides to go under the knife for a minor routine procedure that will end his snoring and sinus problems in Thursday's all-new episode of "The Big Bang Theory."
In the last episode, "The Prom Equivalency," Amy and Bernadette organized a prom on the roof of Sheldon and Leonard's apartment so that they could recreate a magical night from their youth that didn't go well. Sheldon also admitted to Amy that he loved her in the emotional episode, notes Carter Matt.
During the next episode, "The Septum Deviation," Sheldon will inadvertently steal attention away from Howard when he receives surgery to cure himself of a deviated septum. Initially, Sheldon will find the surgical procedure troublesome. He will also panic when an earthquake causes a power outage while Howard is in the hospital. As a result, he will run into a glass wall, which causes him damage to his own nose.
"Why would you have surgery?" Sheldon asks Howard nervously in a preview clip. "You don't have a life threatening condition, why would you take the risk of surgery?"
In response, Howard tells him that it's no big deal, but Sheldon is not convinced.
In the meantime, another preview video posted on CBS reveals that Bernadette will question the stability of her marriage with Howard as a result of Raj's parents' divorce.
According to Hypable.com, the official synopsis for "The Septum Deviation" reads as follows:
"When Leonard gets minor surgery on his nose, Sheldon is the one in need of sympathy. Meanwhile, Raj's parents' impending divorce causes Howard and Bernadette to work on their own marriage."
"The Big Bang Theory" Season 8, Episode 9, "The Septum Deviation," will air on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
