'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' Cast News: Mama June Says Her Daughters' Father Is a Child Molester, But He Didn't Abuse Anna
Reality TV personality June “Mama June” Shannon released a bombshell recently when she revealed the identity of the father of two of her daughters and continued to deny a connection to her oldest daughter’s sexual abuser.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Mama June, 35, revealed that the father of two of her daughters, Jessica and Lauryn “Pumpkin,” is a convicted child molester.
However, it is not Mark McDaniel, who allegedly molested Mama June’s oldest daughter Anna when she was 8. Instead it is reportedly a man named Michael Anthony Ford.
"I have nothing to hide, I have nothing to lose," Mama June said. "I just want, honestly, to tell my side of the story and let’s move on.”
She then continued to explain why McDaniel had returned to her life, denying she had seen him multiple times.
Mama June then talked about how Jessica believed that McDaniel is her father; however, the mother says she is not.
"Since two months to almost six years, she knew nobody but him," Mama June explained. "She was starting to resent Anna and she was starting to ask me questions. I can't answer those questions for Pumpkin.
Mama June then explained a second meeting with mcDaniel, in which he explained the truth to Jessica.
"I was sitting right there with 12 other people," Mama June said. "It was a conversation that she wanted her answers: what happened, why did he leave, you know, if he was her real father. He admitted to her, no. I had already told her that but, you know, she wanted to hear from both sides of the story.”
Mama June contends that she only met with McDaniel twice.
According to USA Today, Mama June will appear on Monday’s episode of “Dr. Phil” in which she will reveal that McDaniel has moved on and has a girlfriend.
