Alejandra Espinoza Baby and Pregnancy News: 'El Gordo Y Flaca' Host Announces She's Pregnant After Three Prior Miscarriages
Alejandra Espinoza announced on Thursday, Nov. 13, that she and her husband are expecting.
The "Nuestra Belleza Latina" winner and "El Gordo y La Flaca" host took to her Instagram to share the news of her pregnancy. The image she shared featured her and her husband sitting together on a couch. She is carrying a bowl that reads "Eating for Two," and her husband, Anibal Marrero, is holding a book by John Pfeiffer titled "Dude, You're Gonna Be a Dad!"
In her message, Espinoza opened up about how happy she felt.
"For a few months, I've carried in my womb the biggest blessing that God could have given me," she said. "Thanks to this my happiness is so much that I can't hide it. ... Feeling my young one for the first time doesn't compare to anything that I have lived through before."
In March, Espinoza revealed that she had three miscarriages. The 27-year-old host went into detail about the experiences. The first miscarriage happened soon after marrying Marrero. For her third pregnancy, she lost the baby at three months.
In her announcement message, Espinoza explained that learning she was pregnant made her forget all the pain she previously felt.
Espinoza said that in the coming year, she will become a mother and host of her own show, "La Banda," which are two things she's always dreamt of doing.
"They tell me it won't be an easy year, and on the contrary, I think it will be the best year of my life," she said. "I will have another reason to want to do more and to continue fighting. I wanted to let you know, my virtual friends, before anyone else. You deserve it because your testimonies, prayers and blessings helped me in the worst of times."
Espinoza continued by saying that people have shown her kindness and never expected anything in return.
"Thank you God for blessing me and finally allowing me to say, 'I'M PREGNANT," she said.
