While fans are anxiously anticipating Drake's fourth studio album titled "Views From The 6," Ellie Goulding recently revealed that she has recorded some new music with him.

Goulding, who actually is a huge fan of the Toronto emcee, sat down with Capital FM's host Max on Friday to discuss the collaboration that will possibly end up on his upcoming record.

"I'd love there to be like, so when it gets to the end of the [new] album, everyone thinks it's finished and then Drake comes in! That would be amazing," she said. "Obviously he's sampled me on one of his songs before, and I've done some stuff for him for his new album potentially."

Drizzy previously sampled the British singer's "Halcyon" song "Don't Say a Word" for his emotional track "Pound Cake," featuring Jay Z off his successful third studio album "Nothing Was the Same (2013)."

After recording some vocals for the "How Bout Now" rapper's latest project, the "Outside" crooner also claimed that the pair has now become friends.

"We converse," she said. "He discovered my voice on his last album, he sampled it, and I think he's become a fan through that. So who knows, something might happen."

In addition, although he has yet to announce the official release date for his forthcoming album, Drake hinted it in "0 to 100/The Catch Up," following a set of future releases from the OVO Sound artists: "We already got spring 2015 poppin' / PND droppin' / Reps-Up P droppin' / Majid Jordin droppin' / OB droppin' not to mention me droppin'."

"Views From The 6" appears to be a shout-out to the YMCMB rapper's hometown, as "The 6" may suggest the city's two most prominent area codes 416 and 646.
