Game Informer reports that on Friday Ubisoft released a second major patch for "Assassin's Creed: Unity" for PlayStation 4 and PC. It includes fixes for players falling through the floor and game crashes while joining co-op session.

The second patch is due to arrive for Xbox One this week.

The Ubisoft development team is already looking to rollout a third major patch, reports Eurogamer. The company revealed on its live updates blog that the patch would fix the following five issues:

1. General Stability. Expect fixes for several crash situations in both campaign and co-op modes.

2. Menus and HUD. Missing details in menus, problems with some of the co-op update pop-ups and mission objectives will be addressed, plus fixes for localization inconsistencies and menu and pop-ups overlapping each other.

3. Gameplay. Bugs, like general camera, character animation, getting into/out of cover problems, and Arno getting stuck on hay carts and map areas, will be resolved.

4. Matchmaking and Connectivity. This targets co-op play issues, including host migration and problems with joining in-progress games..

5. AI and Crowd. Problems with crowd events, crowd stations, NPC animations and NPC navigation issues will be fixed, as will NPCs detecting Arno's activities in certain moments of play.

The complete list of fixes and timing is not yet final, according to Ubisoft.

Ubisoft also plans to include improvements to the game's stability.

"Part of what we want to do at this point is balance the competing desires to get as much as we can into the patch with getting it out quickly," Ubisoft states on its website. "Once we've locked down exactly what will be in Patch 3, we will update you again with a more specific set of patch notes. This next patch won't solve every problem, but we're expecting that it will dramatically improve your experience."

Ubisoft is still investigating framerate problems. Gamers can expect framerate corrections at a later date.

A full list of the game's issues can be found on Ubisoft's official forums, along with status updates from developers regarding fixes and workarounds.
