With the year coming to an end, the summer season is starting to be the main focus for many studios.

While Oscar campaigns shape up, the trailers for many new blockbusters are being unveiled, and Disney has announced that the teaser for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will be released soon. 

There is no specific date at the moment when it will arrive. Many rumors suggested that it would be in front of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1," but with Lionsgate releasing the film and promoting its new trailer to "Insurgent," that is doubtful. 

There has also been speculation that it will appear on ABC since Disney owns the network. Others speculate that it will be on time for the holiday season.

According to Badass Digest, the trailer will be short. Since it is a teaser, expect it to be one minute, and it will mostly not reveal a lot of information. 

The source also stated that it would have "'The Force Theme' played on woodwinds, softly, over flashing images of the main leads, each fading to black. There's no dialogue, just reveals of the characters. And then the music swells up into a full orchestral piece -- perhaps what John Williams recorded this weekend?"

The source also stated that there will be the voice of a female that will say "Wake up." It will then be followed by a title card that reads "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." At the end of the trailer, there will apparently be shots of the Millennium Falcon, firing blasters, coming right at the camera. 

This is a rumor, of course, but given the way first trailers usually play it out, this seems like an accurate depiction of what to expect from a teaser. 

Audiences should not forget the first trailers to "The Dark Knight." There were glimpses of images and the sound of the joker underneath. This built anticipation as many were waiting to see the famed villain. However, it was not until the second trailer that images were shown. Earlier this year, the first trailer unveiled at Comic Con for "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" also contained just words and the voice of Ultron. 

"Star Wars" is one of the most anticipated films of next year, as it reboots a franchise that saw its last film ten years ago. The latest movie takes place 30 years after the events of Episode VI and sees Luke, Leia and Han Solo years later. While there is no official synopsis, there are rumors that Han and Leia's children will appear, and that Luke will be tempted by the dark side. 

The film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Andy Serkis, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Max Von Sydow, Warwick Davis, Peter Mayhew and Anthony Daniels. John Williams composed the score to the film, and Daniel Mindel served as cinematographer. Michael Kaplan designed the costumes, and Rock Carter designed the sets. The film was directed by J.J. Abrams and is slated to open on Dec. 14, 2015.
