NBC 'Parenthood' TV Show Season 6, Episode 9 Spoilers: Sarah Runs Into Her Ex-Fiancé Mark Cyr in 'Lean In' [Watch]
Fans can look forward to more emotionally gripping episodes as the sixth and final season of NBC's "Parenthood" prepares to come to an end.
In last Thursday's episode, "Aaron Brownstein Must Be Stopped," Max lost his cool when he discovered his crush Dylan making out with another student named Aaron Brownstein. As a result, he asked his mom, the school headmaster, to expel him. However, when Kristina refuses to do so, Max took matters into his own hands and started a petition to get him kicked out of the school, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Eventually, Dylan blurted out that she doesn't have romantic feelings for Max. In order to help him cope with getting his heart broken, Kristina assured her son that he will one day find a girl who has mutal feelings for him.
In the meantime, Jasmine and Crobsy began to adjust to Jasmine's new job as a filing clerk in order to help out with her family's financial expenses.
In Thursday's upcoming episode, "Lean In," Jason Ritter will reprise his role as Sarah's former fiancé Mark Cyr. A sneak peek video shows Sarah and Mark exchanging friendly glances and waving at each other after Ruby's school.
"Are you waving to the hot English teacher?" Sandy asks Sarah as they are waiting for Ruby after the school play.
In response, Sarah tries to downplay the interaction, but Hank decides to reveal her romantic history with Mark.
Meanwhile, a clip in the trailer video shows that Hank will ask Sarah if she thinks "her life would have been better" if she had chose to be with Mark rather than him.
The trailer also hints that Zeek will have another health scare.
According to TV Guide, the synopsis for the upcoming episode is as follows:
"An open house is held at Chambers' Academy, but it's marred by tension between Dylan and Max. Meanwhile, Hank's pleased that Ruby's looking forward to her school play, but Mark Cyr's presence causes problems; and Zeek enlists Drew on a covert mission."
Season 6, Episode 7 of "Parenthood," "Lean In," airs on Thursday, Nov. 20, on NBC.
