While Esmeralda and Pablo plan to get married, there are many surrounding the couple who will do what it takes to stop them. Gisella has told Pablo that his brother his in love with Esmeralda. Monica is also against the marriage. (Catch up on episodes 56-60 here.)

Here's what to expect on episodes 61 to 65 of "La Gata."

Episode 61:

Esmeralda and Pablo's wedding is postponed. It seems that the two will never be able to just live happily ever after. The accident Esmeralda had made it impossible to have the wedding.

Episode 62:

After the tragic accident that Esmeralda has, Fela can't believe what is happening to Esmeralda. Fela tells Esmeralda that she cares a lot about her and that Esmeralda is the most important thing in her life. The doctor taking care of Esmeralda tells El Silencioso some bad news.

Episode 63:

Gisella is willing to go far to end up with Pablo. Gisella is willing to kill Esmeralda. Fela opens up to Mercedes. Fela explains that Pablo's dad, Agustin, is a very bad man. Agustin stole his daughter from him.

Episode 64:

After Esmeralda's accident, Gisella tells her that she is paralyzed. Pablo finds out what Gisella has done, and he becomes very upset with her. He's not happy that Gisella is trying to harm the woman he loves.

When Lorenza de Martinez Negrete comes to visit Esmeralda, she is expecting Pablo's mother to also make fun of her.

Episode 65:

Esmeralda doesn't let Gisella keep bullying her. Esmeralda tells Gisella that she doesn't want to see her near Pablo anymore. She believes that only someone like her, who truly loves him, should get to be around him.

Pablo also surprises her, which makes Esmeralda happy again.
