Since Zayn Malik never appeared for the “Today” show appearance on Monday, fans have speculated that the One Direction member may be leaving the boy band. Is this true?

From what it appears, it is not likely. Zayn soon joined his band mates in Florida, putting all doubt to rest.

Rumors had started to circulate when Zayn did not appear with the rest of One Direction in Orlando on Monday. Much of the talk happened on social media; however, a source reportedly close to the boy band told HollywoodLife.com that the rumors are unfounded.

“Zayn isn’t leaving the band, they aren’t breaking up. All is well,” the source said. “There is zero truth to the rumors of a breakup. Everyone can rest easy!”

To further quell any rumors, Zayn flew to Orlando on Tuesday to join the rest of One Direction for the continued promotion of their new album “Four,” as well as for their upcoming appearance at the American Music Awards, according to the New York Daily News.

The Daily Mail reports that Zayn left London wearing comfortable clothing, a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt, and appeared to be “sporting puffy red eyes.” He also reportedly “looked gaunt.”

Zayn and One Direction have been dodging questions concerning Zayn’s supposed drug abuse problem. During the “Today” show interview, host Matt Lauer asked the guys present if Zayn has problems with drugs. They answered he was just ill.

However, the singer was back with the rest of the band in Orlando, according to E! News. He appeared at a concert wearing a black t-shirt and pants.

Fans, excited for Zayn’s return, began tweeting using #ZaynIsBack, which began trending worldwide.

Zayn later took to Twitter himself and thanked fans.
