Showtime's hit series "Shameless" filled celebrity news pages this week as it is gearing up for a new season.

The show's fifth year will apparently bring "an invasion of hipsters and coffee shops," Fashion & Style titled based on a sneak-peak video released to promote the new installment.

"Emmy Rossum warned that the Gallaghers' neighborhood will fall victim to an urban renewal plan," the website wrote. "An invasion of hipsters and coffee shops will take place, and the Gallaghers are not going to be very happy about it."

"Shameless," which premiered in January 2011, is centered around the dysfunctional family of Frank Gallagher, a single father of six. The show is set in Canaryville, a neighborhood on Chicago's South Side. It is a remake of a successful British series of the same name.

Two teaser trailers contain some insights as to what viewers can expect in Season 5, Air Herald noted.

The first "shows Frank stealing a prosthetic leg from a child (as) Fiona is already getting close to her new boss ... a former gangster who seems to be reinvigorated by her sexy and violent ways," according to the site adding that "the boys fight gentrification."

The second trailer "explores the gentrification problem a bit further," Air Herald said. It reveals, "Yoga studios and hipster cafés are popping up all over town, (and) we learn more about Frank's prosthetic limb scam. ... He needs the money back (that) he donated to the homeless children, so he steals the limbs right off their bodies!"

Actress Emmy Rossum, who plays Fiona Gallagher on the show, meanwhile, had some "shameless" fun during a promotion, Hollywood Life reported.

"After posing for some more conservative pictures during the Season 5 'Shameless' photo shoot ... she and fellow co-stars pulled their pants down to their ankles and bared all for one final shot," the website said.

On Tuesday, the 28-year-old actress was spotted making her way from Los Angeles, the site of the "Shameless" set, to Chicago, where the show's outdoor scenes are shot, Just Jared said.

"Chicago. 20-something degrees and the first snow of the season. Nothing could be better." Rossum tweeted. "It is 12 degrees on set in Chicago. With the wind chill, it is 4 degrees. I'm all bundled up to film with Dermot Mulroney for 'Shameless.'"
