Iggy Azalea and Eminem Feud: 'Black Widow' Rapper Slams 'Vegas' Rape Lyric Off New 'Shady XV' Album [Video]
Iggy Azalea has found herself in the middle of yet another hip-hop feud following her beef with fellow rappers Nicki Minaj and Snoop Dogg. This time, she has a problem with a controversial lyric by Eminem.
On Wednesday, Marshall Mathers previewed a snippet of a Bad Meets Evil track with Royce Da 5' 9'' titled "Vegas" off his upcoming "Shady XV" compilation album, which is set for a release on Nov. 24. The song features quite offensive lines that allude to rape, while clearly referencing the Australian emcee.
"You're lucky just to follow my ride / If I let you run alongside the Humvee, unless you're Nicki / Grab you by the wrist, let's ski / So, what's it gon' be? / Put that s**t away, Iggy / You gon' blow that rape whistle on me," Eminem raps.
Azalea, who revealed that her younger brother is actually a huge fan of the Detroit rapper, took to her Twitter account the next day to respond, writing:
However, Em's words seemingly did not affect the "Fancy" hitmaker too much, as she was able to quickly brush it off:
This certainly is not the first time that the "Monster" rapper has attacked a female artist. Last week, he rapped that he would "punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice like Ray Rice" in the "Shady CXVpher" video with Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf promoting the forthcoming "Shady XV."
