Lindsay Lohan's father Michael Lohan reportedly got married to his girlfriend, Kate Major, last month in a private ceremony at Hillsboro Beach in Florida

A source from Us Weekly described the wedding ceremony as a "beautiful, small ceremony and reception afterward."

"Kate and Michael purposely wanted it private as they await the arrival of their second child together," the source added.

Lohan and Major's wedding ceremony might have been beautiful, however his children Lindsay Lohan and her brother Mike Jr., from his previous marriage with Dina Lohan, were allegedly not invited to witness the wedding, TMZ reports.

Although the tabloid site claims that neither Lindsay nor her brother cared enough to attend the wedding, Us Weekly alleges that Lindsay is happy for her father and continues to keep in touch with him.

"[Lindsay and Mike Jr.] are doing great and talk to their dad all the time," the source said. "There's no drama whatsoever!"

Despite reports of Michael's wedding with Major, his ex-wife, Dina recently suggested that Michael's nuptials might be a hoax. TMZ met with Dina on Tuesday at LAX and asked her to comment on her ex's wedding

"He told me he didn't, so I don't know. I'm kinda confused," she responded.

Dina then went on to reveal that Michael had texted her to deny rumors that he and Major tied the knot.

Although Dina is confused about whether Michael and Major actually did get married, the mother-of-two wished both Major and her ex the best for their future together.

"I honestly really like [Kate]. They have children so you have to do the right thing, but whatever," Dina explained. "I'm a single mom, I raise my kids. It's all good though. Follow the light you know what I'm saying?"
