Now that Sofia has called off her wedding, Chava knows it is his opportunity to win her over. For the first time, Chava is going to be assertive when it comes to Sofia.

Here's what happens in episodes 76-80.

Episode 76: Chava goes back to work for Sofia. And while things are looking up for him, Araceli realizes that she'll never be able to be with him. Chava only has eyes for Sofia.

Chava's friend Armando is also lucky in the love the department. He and Alexa kiss and explore their relationship. Armando is not so lucky otherwise. Irma wants to hurt him, so she wants to let everyone know that Armando isn't Nandito's father. Araceli tries to reason with her, and she explains that these declarations will only hurt Nandito.

Episode 77: Nandito is not happy with Alexa. When Alexa asks him why, Nandito says it's because Alexa has stolen her father. Alexa is surprised by the bluntness of his words.

Armando wants sole custody of Nandito, but he tells Alexa that this means things are going to come to the forefront. When Alexa explains that she doesn't understand, Armando confesses that Nandito is not his son.

Episode 78: Irma tries to make up with Armando, but he does not want that. Eventually, he tells her that he is willing to fight her if he needs to. Irma is surprised that Armando is so opposed to her.

Chava talks to his dad, Javier Cruz. For the first time, Chava calls him dad, and the two hug.

Episode 79: When Greta finds out that Sofia is not longer with Patricio, she starts feeling bad. Patricio tries to forget his problems with Silvana, who he spends the night with.

Now that Sofia is available, she and Chava talk on the phone and remember the night they spent together at a hotel. The two now seemingly have nothing in their way.

Irma calls Alexa and tells her that she and Armando are going to couple's counseling to work on their relationship. Alexa is sad and surprised to hear the news, and she reacts by crying.

Episode 80: Patricio is still planning his revenge on Chava, and he's getting help from Renzi. This is why Renzi meets with Chava's ex-girlfriend to start putting the plan into action. Meanwhile, it seems Sofia and Chava are going strong. The two feel more tied to each other, and after they kiss, Chava tells her how he feels. He explains that he will fight for her more than ever before.
