Freddie Prinze Jr. 2014: 'Star Wars Rebels' Actor Recovering After Spinal Surgery, Says He's Learning to 'Walk Again'
On Thursday, Nov. 20, "Star Wars Rebels" actor, Freddie Prinze Jr. posted a tweet revealing that he had gone through spinal surgery and was quickly recovering.
Prinze Jr. shared several photos from before and after his surgery and named his neck brace, "robo-neck."
In addition to giving his brace a nickname, Prinze Jr. also gave himself a series of nicknames including "robo-bro, brobot and the iron android," People reports.

Prior to his surgery, the 38-year-old actor, who is married to actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, did not talk about any issues he had regarding his health, People reports.
Instead, Prinze Jr. opted to focus on promoting his latest acting voiceover project, Disney XD's "Star Wars Rebels," in which he voices the character of Kanan.
Though it is unclear what specifically caused Prinze Jr. to undergo the invasive surgery, he did reveal on Twitter that he had been suffering from "disc issues" prior to his surgery.
Prinze Jr.'s current road to recovery appears to be quite successful as the actor has posted several Twitter photos of himself meditating, balancing on one foot, and walking three miles since his initial surgery date ten days ago.
Prinze Jr. has yet to reveal when he will be fully healed. His wife has also chosen to not talk publicly about Prinze Jr.'s surgery.
