Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran Relationship Update: Model Attended ‘Andy Goes Street’ Gallery Exhibit, Spotted Clubbing
Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran were photographed leaving Argyle, a Los Angeles nightclub, on Saturday night, which lays to rest Tran's misinterpreted tweet late last week, reports TMZ.
Tran tweeted on Nov. 26, "Looks like I'm a single lady again," which sent Twitter followers and tabloids into a feeding frenzy for facts about what caused the latest break up with Brown. There was no break up. Tran clarified the situation close to midnight the same day with this tweet: "I was talking about the show Single Ladies. I just came back from shooting an episode lol gee wiz."
The model was referring to her recent success at scoring an acting role on the "Single Ladies" show. The nature of her character has not been announced as of yet.
Deadline reports that the Queen Latifah-produced "Single Ladies" show was cancelled by VH-1 in April after three seasons, but picked up by BET Networks' Centric. The hour-long romantic comedy series, set in Atlanta music, celebrity and fashion.
But that's not the only recent appearance for the couple.
Brown rarely receives accolades for his artistic abilities, but proved his talents again recently when he participated in an Andy Warhol collaboration piece with famed celebrity photographer Karen Bystedt.
The "Love Me No More" singer added his artistic flare to an iconic Andy Warhol photograph taken by Bystedt, which was exhibited Nov. 15 in her "Andy Goes Street" exhibit at the Bruce Lurie Gallery in Los Angeles.
Tran was at Brown's side for the exhibit -- further proof the couple has been going strong despite relentless break up rumors.
The couple began dating in 2011, however, throughout 2012 former girlfriend and singer Rihanna was still romantically involved with Brown. In October 2012, Brown temporarily ended his relationship with Tran because she was hurt by his ongoing relationship with Rihanna. Brown released a video entitled "The Real Chris Brown," in which he asks, "Is there such thing as loving two people? I don't know if it's possible, but I feel like that."
In January 2013, Rihanna announced that she and Brown had resumed their romantic relationship, but the relationship was short lived as Brown confirmed the two broke up in May 2013.
Brown has had an on-and-off relationship with Tran since.
The Vietnamese-African-American beauty told Vibe magazine last winter about her interesting dynamic with Brown:
"I do care about him and I do love him. Family is very important to me, and I've always put it in my mind to remember that," she said.
"For me, I'd love to meet somebody and grow and build a foundation, but I don't want to even think about marriage right now. I can't even get a clothing line out."
