The Jeffersonian team will get their hands dirty in Thursday's episode of "Bones" as they go digging through trash cans in order to find clues about the death of a college professor.

A promo for the new episode, "The Mutilation of the Master Manipulator," shows the Jeffersonian team searching through garbage in a suburban neighborhood in order to garner more evidence about the death of a professor.

"Like looking for a prize at the bottom of a cereal box," says Jack Hodgins in the teaser video.

"Apparently, you and I eat different kinds of cereal," snaps Brennan.

Brennan and Aubrey will also team up in the episode, while Booth deals with school work.

According to The Hollywood Hills, the official synopsis states, "The Jeffersonian team will end up, investigating the remains of a college psychology professor, and the victim's controversial social experiments on his grad students, will garner a list of highly motivated suspects. Elsewhere, Booth will get sidelined with online traffic school, causing Brennan to team up with Aubrey, and Wendell will struggle with his feelings towards a chemotherapy treatment nurse."

Guest stars include Shalita Grant as Andie Roberts, Shanna Collins as Tabitha Coleman, Chastity Dotson as Victoria Andrews, Reva Rose as Barbara Huntley and David L. King as Professor Randall Fairbanks, reports Hypable.com.

There is also speculation that fans can look forward to another season of the long-running series, at least if it is up to star actress Emily Deschanel. During a recent interview with TVLine, Deschanel revealed that she would stay on the show if it is renewed for an 11th season.

"I'm up for it, yeah. I feel like there's still more to tell ... The network [still] has to pick it up, for one ... And people have [expiring] contracts. But under certain circumstances, I would definitely consider [returning]," she said.

Likewise, executive producer Stephen Nathan also stated that he could envision the crime comedy-drama going on for another season.

"We don't feel that the show lacks life or the characters lack places to go," says the EP, adding that the Powers That Be at the network and studio "all seem to be telling us to keep going."

Season 10 of "Bones" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. "The Mutilation of the Master Manipulator" airs Dec. 4.
