Eiza Gonzalez is gearing up for a very busy 2015, so she decided to take some time to herself and headed home to Mexico.

The actress was filmed at the airport talking about what's coming next.

There are rumors that Rosy Ocampo is looking to cast Gonzalez in the upcoming telenovela, "Mas Canija Que Ninguna," but Gonzalez is focused on what's immediately next for her: returning as vampire Santanico Pandemonium in "From Dusk Till Dawn."

"Right now I have a contract for a project," she said. "It's difficult to commit to it. A novela takes 12 months. A series is six. A movie four to five months, depending on whether it's a bigger movie, then it's eight months. It's complicated, you know. The thing is finding balance, but I love Mexico. And Mexico opens doors for me."

Gonzalez said she was grateful to the country where she got her start.

"It gave me my first opportunity, so never say never," she said about the possibility of returning to telenovelas.

During the quick airport interview, the actress also talked about the importance of her family. She explained that she starts work in January, and she is not sure when she'll be able to return to Mexico. She said her family meant "everything" to her.

Gonzalez also took the time to tease the upcoming season of "From Dusk Till Dawn," which she said would be full of "surprises."

She said that Salma Hayek, who first portrayed Santanico Pandemonium, told Robert Rodriguez that she approved of Gonzalez's character. But the 24-year-old actress said that, though Hayek's comments made her happy, she is only looking for the public's acceptance.

One thing Gonzalez would not talk about during this interview was her boyfriend.

She did say that she was happy, but when she was asked if D.J. Cotrona had met her mother yet, Gonzalez would not answer the question.

"You guys already know that I don't talk about that," she said.
