Ninel Conde and boyfriend Giovanni Medina have faced their share of rumors over the last year, but the two continue to say their relationship is fine.

On Dec. 10, Conde shared an image on Instagram, where she called herself a single mother and said that she and Medina had split up. She explained that she and Medina still love each other and that they'll always have a strong bond, but the message clearly implied that she and Medina broke up.

"Today I begin a new journey, with a gorgeous gift that God sent me. My son. But now I am a single mother, and with God's hand, I'll move forward...I won't give any details out of respect of my son. Giovanni is a good man and I will always be grateful to him for this beautiful gift. Our priorities have simply not allowed us to continue being together. For the moment, we have decided to take different paths," the original message said according to La Opinion.

Conde, however, immediately deleted the message and posted pictures of herself and Medina acting like a couple, completely ignoring her previous revelation. The new picture featured her son in two photos, as well as Conde and Medina posing together.

"It's been 7 weeks that #PrinceEmmanuel has been with us and you changed our lives!" she said. "We love you! Happy almooost two months of life! Mom and dad. Good job @giomed1 . I love you both."


Before the birth of her son, Conde said she and Medina planned to marry. She explained that both were first worried about the birth of their son and they would eventually marry at some point.

The couple were criticized previously because people believed that Conde had an abortion after a recording of her allegedly admitted that.
