It all began with Kendrick Lamar's infamous verse in Big Sean's "Control." The Compton emcee calls out a list of rappers, including Drake. Drake fires back some shots in his interviews, and lyrically responds to K-Dot in his recently dropped album, "Nothing Was The Same."

For instance, during the interview with Elliot Wilson for CRWN, Drake mocks Lamar's verse, "That ['Control'] verse was a moment to talk about [but] are you listening to it now, thought?" Then, Kendrick fuels up the whole beef even more during his latest freestyle verse from his 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards Cypher, which many fans and music listeners speculate was directed at Drake's "NTWS" album title.

"And nothing's been the same since they dropped 'Control' / And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes / Ha-ha, jokes on you," Kendrick raps during his freestyle.

While Drake refrains from responding to Kendrick's lyrical attacks, people are eager to see the outcome of the Hip-Hop feud, Erykah Badu being one of them. Badu steps into the rap beef, by encouraging Drake to respond to Kendrick Lamar's alleged diss.

The singer takes to Twitter to tell drake to fire back at Kendrick Lamar. "Drake, u gotta come-back boy ... This HipHop."

Ms. Badu definitely wants to see more action from the two rappers. Until Drake responds to Kendrick Lamar, fans will have to wait until the BET Hip-Hop Awards to hear Kendrick's complete cypher freestyle, which will air on October 15 at 8pm ET.
