'The Hobbit 3: The Battle of the Five Armies' Cast News: Orlando Bloom Talks Spending Christmas With Estranged Wife Miranda Kerr for Christmas on 'The Ellen Degeneres Show' [Watch]
Following his split from Miranda Kerr in October of last year, Orlando Bloom recently revealed his upcoming holiday plans -- will he spend Christmas with estranged wife?
During his appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Wednesday, the British actor said he would be celebrating this holiday season with the Australian model for the sake of their 3-year-old son. The ex-couple want Flynn to be with both of his parents on the special day.
"He's 4 in January," Bloom said. "So his mom is really close, which is great. So we'll be able to do Christmas together."
They are also expecting a great family get-together soon, as they plan to invite their relatives from both sides.
"Yeah, her family, my family," he said. "We'll all kind of come together."
DeGeneres then praised Bloom for his ability to co-parent, saying it is "so important."
"It totally is," Bloom responded immediately.
The "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" star previously spoke about his "deep love" for the former Victoria's Secret Angel.
"It's ever evolving, but I've said to her, 'We're going to be in each other's lives for the rest of our lives and we have a child, so it's important to me that we respect each other as we always have and that Flynn feels that and understands that,'" he told The Times Magazine. "There's deep love between us."
DeGeneres commented on Orlando Bloom's longer hair.
"Everyone's talking about that you're trying to look like Harry Styles," she said.
After being compared to the One Direction heartthrob, Bloom then joked that he's going to get a haircut.
"Really? I'm trying to look like Harry Styles, hello," he said. "Wait a second! I'm trying to look like me, but I like Harry."
Bloom also explained the reasoning behind his hair-do.
"I'm shooting a movie right now. That's why this mane is in place," he said. "[Will I cut it afterwards?] I think so, I don't know. If I'm getting compared to Harry Styles then maybe I should."
