Scarlett Johansson Says Sex Scenes Are ‘Liberating’
On Sunday, Barbara Walters' annual special, "Most Fascinating People " featured Golden Globe nominated actress, Scarlett Johansson.
During her sit-down with Walters, Johansson described her body as simply being "okay"-a huge contrast to the general public opinion that Johansson is a sex symbol, Us Weekly reports.
"It's an okay body. I wouldn't say it's particularly remarkable though," she said. "I don't like my thighs, my mid section."
People reports that Johansson also "refuted any claims to being 'sexy'" adding, "I never put on a sexy face, so I don't know what it means to act seductively."
Though she is uncomfortable with being described as sexy or a sex symbol, Johansson admitted to feeling at ease when it comes to filming sex scenes.
"You have to be totally without judgment," Johansson said of filming "realistic" sex scenes. "It's sort of liberating. It's challenging, but you've just got to stay in the moment."
When she is not filming, Johansson is most likely spending her time tending to her newborn daughter, Rose Dorothy that she recently welcomed her husband, Romain Dauriac, Us Weekly reports.
When asked to talk about about becoming a mother for the first time, Johansson told Walters, that motherhood is, "wonderful and exhausting."
"The love is just unbelievable. It's very overwhelming. I'm nursing and I love it. It's the best way to get back in shape," she added.
Johansson also talked about her marriage to Dauriac, who she tied the knot with back in October.
"I think being in a committed relationship takes work," she said about her marriage. "It's very easy to leave a situation when it gets uncomfortable. It's challenging. But when it works it's really worth it."
E! News reports that Johansson and Dauriac tied the knot on Oct. 1 in Phillipsburg with a low-key wedding ceremony, just a month after the birth of their daughter.
