Don Omar 2014: Univision Reporter Says 'Danza Kuduro' Singer's Security Pushed Her Before His Rant Against the Press [Watch]
Don Omar may be a free man after facing domestic violence charges, but he is not happy with the way the press has portrayed him in the last few months.
At a performance at a Queens, New York, club, the entertainer spoke out against reporters, according to a video shared by Univision.
"I'm going to make something very clear," he said. "I don't care very much what you hear about me on the television. I don't care very much what people have to say about me."
Omar added that TV, radio and the press make the world go round.
According to a Univision reporter, before he got to the club, Omar had members of the press kicked out. She and other press members reportedly waited outside in the cold for Omar, but he ultimately walked by without addressing them. The reporter also accused Omar's security of pushing her.
The singer hasn't addressed what the reporter said, but he did talk about telling the truth on his Twitter account on Tuesday.
"The truth shouldn't be a privilege," he said. "It should be a compromise, where you take action over the truth and never based it on lies."
Omar also shared a video of people singing along to his music on his Instagram account. In the video, he walks up to the camera, points at the crowd and mouths the words along with them.
"Thanks to all the people who make things like this possible," he said. "Happy Sunday to all!"
The footage is from the same event that Omar reportedly didn't allow press. He is wearing the same outfit that shows up in the video posted by Univision.
The musician also shared black-and-white pictures from the event. In the first image, he is seen holding a microphone and talks about having had a good time in New York. In the second image, he is seen posing with and for fans.
