Madden 15 Player Ratings & Playoff Roster Update on Xbox One, PS4: OVR Changes After Week 16 Games?
The playoff picture became a little bit clearer after some Sunday NFL action. How did the top players perform after a crucial Week 16 in the NFL?
Madden NFL 15 updates its rosters every Friday afternoon and it uses players' real life performances in the NFL to change the players' ratings.
Let's take a look at who is in the playoffs and which athletes performed well this Sunday.
Aaron Rodgers, who has been either a 98 or 99 overall rated quarterback almost all season in Madden 15, had the worst performance of his career in Week 15. In Week 16, Rodgers was "sick as a dog" but played much better than in Week 15. He was downgraded to a 98 for his Week 15 performance, but Sunday's 31-for-40 passing and 318 yards should bump him up to a 99.
Tony Romo has been injured for quite some time, but he still gets out there every week and throws the ball -- and usually very well. Sunday was no different. He threw only 20 passes but completed 18 and four were touchdowns. Madden 15 rates him just at a 93, but he has led the Cowboys to an 11-4 record and helped his team clinch the NFC East with a 42-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. He could very well (and should be) a 95 or higher thanks to his performances this year.
Even though his team, the New York Giants, will not be in the playoffs this season, Eli Manning has looked good in recent weeks. He threw for 391 yards and three touchdowns Sunday in a 37-27 victory over the St. Louis Rams. Manning is just an 85 overall rated quarterback but performs like a 90-92 rated quarterback. Madden 15 should put him at about a 91.
AFC: New England (clinched division), Pittsburgh (clinched playoff spot), Indianapolis (clinched division), Denver (clinched division).
NFC: Dallas (clinched division), Detroit (clinched playoff spot), Green Bay (clinched playoff spot), Seattle (clinched playoff spot), Arizona (clinched playoff spot).
What do you think of the ratings in Madden NFL 15? What do you think of the NFL Playoffs this year?
