‘Teen Mom 2' News 2014: Leah Messer's Alleged Drug Dealer Speaks Out; Star's Family Slams MTV
"Teen Mom 2" star Leah Messer has experienced an onslaught of rumors and allegations since October, and things keep getting worse for the 22-year-old.
The last days of Messer's marriage played out before our eyes on Twitter and other social networking sites, but finalized on Nov. 25 when her husband Jeremy Calvert tweeted, "DONE!"
Calvert had accused Messer of cheating on him in October with her ex-boyfriend Robbie Kidd, which Kidd confirmed, although Messer adamantly denied the claims.
The newly single pipeline engineer moved out of the home he shared with Messer, severed all online ties with her and reportedly he's been openly flirting with "Teen Mom" groupies and young models on social media.
Nonetheless, Messer has said on Twitter that she and Calvert are together and very much in love. "Jerm and I wanna go to Gatlitsburg, TN and get a cabin," Messer tweeted to fans on Tuesday.
As if the loss of her husband was not enough, Messer has been reportedly struggling with prescription pill addiction. Her family accuses MTV of being responsible for the drug allegations after scenes from "Teen Mom 2" showed a "drugged up" Messer.
The reality star's alleged drug dealer told In Touch Weekly, "I used to give Leah the pills myself; she's picked up 30 to 40 pills at a time from me. She was withdrawing $1,000 a week to buy pills."
He claims painkillers Lortab, Vicodin, Percocet and oxycodone are Messer's preferred drugs.
The mounting stress from her custody battle with ex-Corey Simms, raising three children, the end of her marriage and a supposed pain pill addiction could explain a sudden need for cash, and the allegation reported by The Hollywood Gossip that the reality-TV star stole $50,000 from her 5-year-old daughter's trust fund.
Messer's daughter Ali suffers from muscular dystrophy. The 50 grand has accumulated from donations for her medical care and education.
Messer's first husband, Simms, is reportedly pursuing legal action.
It is unknown what happened to Messer's sizable earnings from MTV.
