Every time it seems as though Acacia and Esteban have decided to be together again, one of them decides to back out. Previously on "La Malquerida," Esteban decided he wants to work on his marriage with Cristina once again. (Catch up on episodes 91-95 here.)

Here's what to expect in episodes 96-100 of "La Malquerida."

Episode 96:

Acacia tells Esteban that he can't continue to talk to her about romance and continue to be with Cristina. With tears in her eyes, she tells him that she wishes they could stop playing games.

Cristina realizes that Acacia is not happy about Esteban. When Cristina asks her about it, Acacia says that she should kick Esteban out.

Episode 97:

Cristina tells Hector that she doesn't want to get hurt, but she is getting back together with Esteban.

Ulises tells German that Alejandra had to marry Danilo.

Acacia tells Esteban that she knows he asked her mother for money and accuses him of getting back with Cristina for that reason.

Episode 98:

Cristina tells Esteban that if something happens to her, then he and Acacia would be the owners of her properties. Acacia and Esteban are kissing when Cristina comes and knocks on the door.

Episode 99:

Esteban says he likes seeing Acacia wear a cross because it reminds him that the two belong to one another.

Acacia tells Alejandra that she doesn't know if it is up to Esteban to tell Cristina what he is feeling for Acacia.

Esteban tells Acacia that he loves her and wants to be with her, and the two get very close to sleeping together.

Episode 100:

Acacia tells Esteban that she has time to think about it, and she wants to end their affair.

Esteban is surprised when Acacia slaps him.
