Following his split from Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber reportedly spent the night with rumored new girlfriend Hailey Baldwin this weekend.

According to E! News, the daughter of Stephen Baldwin met up with the Canadian pop star at his residence, and the pair was then driven by a chauffeur to the Mr. Chow restaurant in New York City on Dec. 26.

An eyewitness recalled that Bieber and Baldwin "looked like a couple," noting that the latter bought a gift for the former. After spending more than an hour at the fancy eatery, they reportedly headed to a movie theater to see crime thriller "The Gambler."

The eyewitness added that the couple returned to the "Boyfriend" singer's place following their hangout and was having breakfast at a diner in New Jersey the following morning.

However, Baldwin took to her Twitter account on Dec. 27 to deny the reports claiming that she had spent the night with Bieber:

Earlier this month, she slammed the dating rumors with the "Baby" hitmaker, insisting that they are nothing more than friends.

"I've known him since I was so young -- since I was like 13 -- and we've just been good friends over the years," she told E! News. "We have just stayed close and there's nothing more to it than that."

Meanwhile, Gomez is spending time with her family at home in Texas for the holiday season -- which apparently helps her to forget about the unstable relationship with on-and-off boyfriend.

"The more time with family has her not want Justin," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "So during the holidays and New Year's, she wants and plans to keep it simple and with the ones she loves and that is family. Family is more important than Justin right now."
