'Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Cast News 2014: 'RHONJ' Star Gia Giudice to Film Spinoff Reality Show?
Gia Giudice, the daughter of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice, is gearing up to film her own spinoff reality-TV show about her girl group 3KT, E! news reports.
Gia has appeared several times on "RHONJ." However, she is now looking to star in her own reality-TV show with her bandmates and showcase their lives as they try to make it in the music business.
"It will be all about her group, 3KT. They've been filming already for two months," says an E! News source. "So far, the footage is really fun. Once the pilot is completed, they'll start shopping it to the networks."
The source also adds that while the 3KT's parents will be featured on the show, Gia's mother Teresa, who is scheduled to report to jail on Jan. 5 for bankruptcy fraud, will not make an appearance on her daughter's spinoff show.
"Teresa's thrilled but is keeping her distance," the E! News source adds. "She's really not interested in being in the spotlight right now. She wants the focus to be on Gia."
Prior to the news of Gia's 3KT spinoff show, it was reported that her mother Teresa was in a panicked frenzy as she attempted to secure temporary housing for her children while she is away in jail.
Although Teresa's husband Joe will be around for the kids while she is away, Radar Online claims that Teresa does not trust that Joe will be a responsible caretaker for their children.
"[Teresa] knows Joe doesn't want to take care of them, and she doesn't think he's capable," says a Life & Style source via Radar Online. "Teresa has become so desperate, she's now considering giving her kids to friends!"
Meanwhile, Gia has already allegedly found a place to live at the family home of her fellow 3KT group mate.
Gia hopes that by staying at her band member's home, she will get the maternal support from the mother of the house since she knows it will be difficult to contact her own mother while she's in prison, Radar Online reports.
