Ryan Seacrest's "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" 2015 co-host Jenny McCarthy has already chosen the woman for him to kiss at midnight: Taylor Swift, reports E! News.

Could McCarthy be playing matchmaker? E! News asked McCarthy if she was planning to return the favor since Seacrest introduced her to now-husband Donnie Wahlberg. McCarthy said, "Now I have to do that, I promise you. I think Taylor Swift would be perfect."

Taylor is headlining ABC's New Year's celebration that is broadcasting live from Times Square. It's not the first time-the songstress had performed onstage at the 2012 Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.

It wouldn't be the first time Seacrest started a new year kissing a beautiful, famous woman. Seacrest shared a kiss with Miley Cyrus at the stroke of midnight last year. Right before the ball dropped, Cyrus, 21, met Seacrest onstage and though it didn't air, the "Wrecking Ball" singer and "American Idol" host locked lips.

"Miley Cyrus, not bad," McCarthy quipped. "So, Taylor Swift this year, I'm going to make it happen."

There's no mystery about who McCarthy will be smooching at midnight.

"I can't kiss strangers anymore, per my husband's request," the actress explained.

As roughly one million revelers toast the New Year in New York's Times Square as the ball drops, fans will be on edge with anticipation for the Seacrest-Swift midnight kiss.

Swift and Seacrest have seen quite a bit of each other over the past couple of years. Most recently, on Dec. 12, Seacrest and Swift posed with Charli XCX backstage at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2014 hosted by Z100 in New York.

Since her break up with Harry Styles, there have been rumors the "Blank Space" singer is secretly dating The 1975's lead singer and guitarist, Matt Healy, yet she has not confirmed a relationship.

And considering Seacrest announced Dec. 12 that he split with model girlfriend Shayna Terese Taylor following a year-and-a-half relationship, it isn't crazy to think the two celebrities might date.
