New Year's Resolutions 2015: Chiquis Rivera, Maite Perroni & Gerardo Ortiz Share Their 2015 Goals
Before the start of 2015, "El Gordo y La Flaca" caught up with celebrities to find out what their New Year's resolutions would be.
Maite Perroni had very reasonable goals.
"I want to find balance and have more time for me, so that I can also spend more time with the people I most care about" she said.
In 2014, Perroni released "Eclipse de Luna," and she starred in "La Gata." The actress and singer was also on the cover of GQ Mexico for May 2014.
Gerardo Ortiz may be gearing up for the debut of his first movie, "Spare Parts," in 2015, but he hasn't had the easiest 2014.
He didn't share his goals, but he did explain what his past year has been like.
"I think it's been one of the most difficult years in my career," he said. "It's also been a year of a lot of work."
In February 2015, he will have the opportunity to win a few awards at Premios Los Nuestro. The singer is up for Song of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Album of the Year (Mexican Regional), Male Artist of the Year (Mexican Regional, Song of the Year (Mexican Regional) and Norteño Artist of the Year.
Chiquis Rivera said she had many goals.
One of them was to lose a little bit of weight, she said.
"[I'd like to] connect more with God, go to church," she said. "Spend more time with the children, work, and I still have to think and write about what I want."
In 2014, Rivera debuted as a singer. One of her biggest projects of the year would have been as judge on "Miss Latina Universo." The pageant was eventually canceled because it didn't reflect the "quality and standards" of Miss Universe or Telemundo, El Nacional reported.
Daniel Arenas believe that every year is a chance to learn and grow. He said he comes away with a new lesson every year.
"This year with 'La Gata,' I'm very satisfied about what we've done," he said.
