Can Dakota Johnson handle the pressures of a Fifty Shades of Grey lead role by herself? With Charlie Hunnam dropping out of the film, Johnson has been left alone in the spotlight, and one source is saying that it is too much for the young actress to handle.

"Dakota is having a very hard time dealing with all the press," an anonymous source said in an interview with E! News. "When she first got the role, it was way too much for her."

Johnson used to have a relatively low-profile in Hollywood. She is best known for her supporting role in 2012's 21 Jump Street and her leading role in the short-lived Fox sitcom "Ben and Kate." According to the E! News source, however, ever since landing the role of Anastasia Steele, Johnson has become someone that "everyone wants a piece of."

"It's been tough," the source said.

Over the weekend, Hunnam, known for playing Jax in FX's "Sons of Anarchy," resigned from the role of Christian Grey, the kinky businessman who teaches Anastasia the joys of XXX-rated sex.

"The filmmakers of Fifty Shades of Grey and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam's immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey," Universal Pictures and Focus Features said in a joint statement.

Now fans are calling for Matt Bomer, from USA Network's "White Collar," to finish where Hunnam left off.

When E.L. James, the author of the erotic novel from which the movie is based, announced that Hunnam and Johnson would play the lead roles, fans quickly made a petition on Change.org demanding Bomer and Alexis Bledel, former star of The WB's "Gilmore Girls," instead.

"Matt Bomer is the PERFECT DESCRIPTION OF CHRISTIAN GREY AND ALEXIS BLEDEL IS THE PERFECT ACTRESS TO REPRESENT ANASTASIA STEELE and if THEY ARE NOT, NOBODY WILL BE And I read the whole trilogy and I can assure that Matt is the perfect actor for this movie and Alexis too. So please PLEASE, all of the GREYsessed and Bomerettes in the world NEED those actors. They always will be for us the Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. WE CAN DO ANYTHING GUYS, ANYTHING," @donttouchmypatch, the creator of the petition, said in the petition's description.
