Chiquis Rivera shared a personal picture on Instagram on a day when she was feeling down. 

"These are the eyes that cried themselves to sleep last night, and cried even more after watching 'If I Stay' just a few minutes ago," Chiquis said. "Hair all messed up, no makeup, eyes swollen and heart in pieces, but I still manage to crack a smile, for HER and because of HER."

In Chiquis's message about her late mother, Jenni Rivera, she continued by saying that happiness was something she chose. 

Chiquis also thanked her fans for their support.

"P.S. thank you @perales_17 for making me laugh lol," she said. "I love my #BossBees so much! You guys are one a kind. #Blessed to have you all. #Love."

"El Gordo y La Flaca" recently went to Jenni's house, where Chiquis and her siblings live. Though the cameras were there to film Chiquis's closet, the house showed that Jenni was still a big part of the house. In the foyer, Jenni's initials can be seen on the floor, and Chiquis admits to using her mother's jewelry but always placing it back where it belongs. 

Chiquis went on to show off her shoe collection.

"I love shoes for the simple fact that they never say no. They always fit me," she said. "Pants, dresses, blouses sometimes disappoint me."

One pair of shoes, which had mesh and sequins, were given to her by Jenni. Chiquis said she only wore them to her mother's wedding, and she has never worn them again.

"El Gordo y la Flaca" host Lili Estefan, who is also known for her love of heels, gave Chiquis a pair of Christian Louboutin heels on the day of the Premios Juventud show.

Just like with her shoes, Chiquis also had clothing she had never worn. The singer explained she was trying to learn to refashion her clothing. For example, a long white dress she wore to Premios Lo Nuestro has been sent out to be shortened. That way, she can wear the dress on any day.
