On Jan. 1, an unofficial Rihanna YouTube account, badgalririVEVO, leaked a song demo titled "World Peace" that is believed to be one of the singles off of the Barbadian singer's highly anticipated upcoming album.

So far, the unmastered track has garnered over 200,000 views on YouTube. Billboard describes the song as an "uptempo, club-ready track."

Although Rihanna has yet to confirm whether "World Peace" will be added to the track list of her upcoming album, she recently posted a photo on Instagram of herself recording in the studio.

Rihanna also recently spoke with E! News about her album and expressed her excitement about the upcoming project. "I'm in the studio right now with a killer team and I'm excited about what we're doing," she said.

Singer-songwriter Ne-Yo also chimed in on Rihanna's future album, adding that her new music is "absolutely incredible."

"The stuff I've heard is absolutely incredible. I can't speak on what it sounds like because I'll get in trouble. But I definitely feel like people are gonna enjoy it," he revealed. "Anybody that's a Rihanna fan is gonna stay a Rihanna fan, and anybody that's not might become a Rihanna fan...just gear up for it."

In honor of Rihanna's upcoming eighth studio album, her fans have created the ever-growing trending twitter hashtag #R8. Rihanna fans continue to express their excitement over her new music and have also posted their ideas for what her upcoming album cover art should be.
