Following Clarkson's Twitter announcement, her fans tweeted their questions about the album while Clarkson took the time to answer.
One fan asked whether SIA would be featured on the album, to which Clarkson replied "maybe." The "American Idol" alum also revealed that her Dr. Dre collaborated single would be released soon and that fans can expect to see her touring as well.
Although Clarkson offered tidbits about her new music, she kept the name of the album and its release date under wraps.
Prior to her new album announcement, Kelly was recently seen performing at her "Miracle on Broadway" fundraiser concert to support four Nashville non-profit organizations.
Clarkson was able to deliver a successful star-studded show that featured many special guests including Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks, Ronnie Dunn, Meghan Trainor and her 6-month-old daughter, River Rose, who was reportedly the first guest to join the stage.
"Isn't she just the cutest?" Clarkson said on stage of her daughter. "This is her first Christmas and her first Christmas dress, and I just had to bring her out here to show her off. I've probably scarred her for life!"
Clarkson later concluded her show with the special announcement that she raised $200,0000 for the fundraiser concert.
She also took to Instagram to share a few photos from the successful night.
