will.i.am recently confirmed that Black Eyed Peas will be returning with their seventh studio album this year.

Sitting down with Capital FM Breakfast Show's hosts Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon, the "Scream & Shout" hitmaker teased his plan to reunite with bandmate Fergie and the rest of B.E.P. to work on new music to mark their 20-year anniversary.

"Okay, I can't give too many details, but there's a bunch of Pea Bodies out there that we've been tweeting back and forth for the past couple of days over the excitement of 20 years of Black Eyed Peas," he said in excitement. "We're going to have new music. We'll have a bunch of new experiences."

The "It's My Birthday" singer then explained what the follow-up to 2010's "The Beginning" is all about. "I don't want to call them albums, but we'll have some experiences and a bunch of stuff to get the #PeaBodies and the folks that supported us and got us to this point," he continued. "So we'll make music for them and we'll just reflect on the dream. The initial dream we had, June 1995."

"The Voice U.K." coach also spoke about Rita Ora joining the popular singing competition series. "My gut before we did the show, I was like 'woah', I knew Rita was gonna be great, but I didn't think she was gonna be this great," he said. "Everyone in the U.K. is gonna get to know the Rita that I've known for a real long time. She's sweet, she's spunkily, she's edgy, she's vibrant, she's fiery, she's a sweetheart."

When asked how "The Voice" compares to "The X Factor," will.i.am claimed that the rival talent show is necessary. "I think 'The X Factor' is needed, I think you need both of them. In the U.K., you need 'The Voice,' you need 'X Factor.' I can't say that it's better."

"I like doing 'The Voice,' I like the format. But I also like what 'The X Factor' has to offer too. I'm just being a transparent and honest person," he added. "I think 'The Voice' is better because, I like the format, I like the memories that I've had there, I like how nice we are to the contestants, but you do need both!"
