Sunday's premiere episode for the newest season of "Celebrity Apprentice" saw former "Cosby Show" actress, Keshia Knight Pullman fired from the show over her refusal to call Bill Cosby for money, the Los Angeles Times reports. 

E! News adds that Pulliam's refusal to contact Cosby was not because of the current rape allegations surrounding the comedian. The newest season of "Celebrity Apprentice" was filmed prior to the allegations and Pullman explained on the show that she and Cosby did not have a close enough relationship for her to call him for money. 

"I have not talked to Bill Cosby on the phone in I don't know how long," Pulliam told Donald Trump in the premiere episode. "So, for me to pick up the phone, having not talked to you for five years, except for when we run into each other for a 'Cosby' event, I feel that's not my place to do."

Ultimately, Pullman was fired for not calling Cosby and raising enough money for her team's project. However, she stands firm in her decision to not call her television dad. 

"That's a decision I made and I stand by it," Pulliam told E! News. "I felt that it would be amazingly tacky to call someone [Cosby] after not having spoken to them, and I didn't feel that I needed that contribution at that time. A couple of other donors didn't come through."

Pulliam also expressed her belief that her team member, Kate Gosselin should have been fired over her because Gosselin did not raise any money for her team while Pullman managed to raise a small portion.

"I felt like as a fundraiser," Pulliam explained. "If two people come in and neither of them are able to raise any funds, ultimately I didn't raise as much as I could have, some checks didn't come in, but I certainly raised more than zero."
