Lil Wayne Hot New 'Sorry 4 the Wait 2' Mixtape Release 2015: YMCMB Rapper Teases Freestyle
While fans are anxiously awaiting the release of "Tha Carter V," Lil Wayne recently teased his freestyle over iLoveMakonnen's popular Drake remix "Tuesday" -- presumably off his upcoming "Sorry 4 the Wait 2" mixtape.
In the teaser clip, the New Orleans emcee is seen smoking his blunt and showing off a Thrasher magazine at an indoor skateboarding park. He also delivers an auto-tuned version of "Alphabet B---hes," which is his remake of early Cash Money label PxMxWx's 1993 track, as "Tuesday" serves as a soundtrack.
"These are my b---hes, my alphabet b---hes / These are my b---hes, my alphabet b---hes," he spits for a few seconds, while smiling and bopping around.
Weezy previously offered fans the first "Sorry 4 the Wait" project as an apology for keeping them waiting for "Tha Carter IV" album to be released.
The "Grindin" rapper might drop the sequel to his 2011 mixtape before releasing his much delayed "Tha Carter V," as his longtime friend Fee Banks and YMCMB President Mack Maine took to their Instagram accounts last month to hint that it is on its way, referencing the title in the captions.
Meanwhile, Rich Homie Quan recently spoke about the ongoing beef between Wayne and Birdman, as well as his upcoming collaborations with the "Believe Me" hitmaker.
Sitting down with VladTV, the ATL emcee addressed Lil Tunechi's current situation with his label and its CEO. He confirmed he talked to Baby about it but said it is between the two. "Me and Birdman talked about his situation, but I'm not going to put y'all onto their business or whatnot," he said. "We had words about it. Other than that, we can't do nothing but move forward.
"I've got nothing but respect for Wayne, he's still my big brother regardless. Bird's still my uncle regardless," he continued.
Quan also revealed he has been working in the studio with Lil Wayne on the remix version of his Drake-assisted song. "Oh yeah, we've got a brand new remix coming out. Wayne got me on the 'Grindin' remix," he said. "I have worked with Wayne, I have worked with Drake. I have yet to work with Nicki Minaj and Tyga."
